IIRC, the version skew detection is a little too clumsy, and assumes
that the only thing that can go wrong is for the module to be too
old. A common issue seems to be rebuilding the kernel without
rebuilding the modules; you should rebuild the coda module every time
you rebuild the kernel. I'm running 2.4.20 (I have a slight case of
my-uptime-is-bigger-than-your-uptime-itis) and I know I used the
module distributed with that kernel.
