ok, i can get them both working fine, and then i do the following steps on
the laptop:

hoard -f HOARD
hoard walk
ifdown eth0
cfs disconnect
wait, edit some files....
ifup eth0
cfs reconnect

and in /usr/coda/etc/console I get:
DispatchWorker: signal received (seq = 323)
worker::Return: message write error 3 (op = 6, seq = 323), wrote -1 of 28 bytes

'cfs cs' can't contact the server, even though IP is working fine.

i think this is the problem with the files getting in sync.
