I would like to setup coda in the following network topology:

astrid <-1000Mbit-> uli <-DSL-> Internet <-100Mbit-> mara
10.0.0.2     10.0.0.1/a.b.c.d                        w.x.y.z

atlas <-1000Mbit-> hermes <-DSL-> Internet
10.0.1.2     10.0.1.1/e.f.g.h

ariane <variable> Internet

given hosts: 
mara: server (100Mbit)/ tape backup
uli: router at home, asyncron DSL (up 1Mbit, down 6Mbit)
hermes: router at work, asyncron DSL (up 1Mbit, down 6Mbit)
astrid: workstation at home
atlas: workstation at work
ariane: laptop (road warrior)

Where should I setup the SCM to get the best performance?
I split up my projects into hobby and work. Should I run more then one SCM?
