Well, if you mentioned that openAFS already has the funding and the
stability and the user base, why are you investing time in coda
instead of implementing what openAFS lacks to be as good as coda?

I think that it's perfect to have several models to choose from. But
with that cames some two major problems. First, some projects mighty
stagnate, no matter how nice they are. But that's kinda of natual
selection. I myself started writting a pythonTk app to manage volumes,
but before i got to something, i realized that openAFS or even
rsync+scp would suit me better. The fact is that when i'm in a need
for something like coda, then i know where to find :)
The seccond problem, is that you might need python, ruby, java, gcc
and mono to run xlogo :-/
