this has probably been asked a million times, but i'm currently looking
into file storage options for my employer and was wondering what the
opinions are on coda's stability and whether it's usable in a production
environment, and how it scales up against nfs.  basically our options
right now are: purchase a netapp and use nfs, or purchase some other sort
of file storage array to hook into a [linux] machine via scsi/fiber and
then use either nfs or coda or some network sharing option.  currently
we're really only using shared filesystem space for static images and
product descriptions on our site, and it will probably stay that way for
quite some time, so i'm much more concerned with reads than writes.  there
won't be rapidly-changing data.

what opinions do you guys have on utilizing coda over nfs?  thoughts on
stability, reliability, failsafe-ness, and anything else that comes to
mind would be appreciated.
