Should this work??

when I execute:
vutil stats

/usr/coda/etc/console gives:

22:47:45 Initial LRDB allocation
22:47:45 Venus starting...
***LWP (0x8272020): Select returns error: 4 

I swear I actually got this work one time on PPC when I was messing around
getting the threading stuff working (the savecontext and restorecontext
asm functions) The problem is I don't remember what I did :-/

These results are from an intel machine, and I get the same thing on PPC.
