LWP can be compiled to use Mach Cthreads, where each lwp is a coroutine
thread (newlwp) or to run all lwps in a single process (oldlwp), in which
case the code to do a context switch between lwps needs to be in assembly.
Oldlwp is the the default currently. The code for both versions in in the
same file & selected by ifdefs. Since oldlwp already works on linux, I'd
imagine that it just needs to have the context switch code written for
PowerPC, but I might be too optimistic.
