I can confirm that running `venus` with `-init` flag fixed this issue.
The reason might have been a `vice-setup` which didn't finish (I
suggested improve of feedback in this case at
https://github.com/cmusatyalab/coda/issues/13). I seem to be able to use
coda now. Thank you.
