Hi list,

I tried to setup a replication server as described in
http://coda.wikidev.net/Dynamically_add_replicated_server

# vice-setup
Welcome to the Coda Server Setup script!

Setting up config files for a coda server.
Do you want the file /etc/coda/server.conf created? [yes]
What is the root directory for your coda server(s)? [/vice]
Setting up /vice.
Directories under /vice are set up.

Is this the master server, aka the SCM machine? (y/n) n
Enter the hostname of the SCM machine :
clusty1.mytest.de
Enter the update token that matches SCM clusty1.mytest.de: test2006
Fetching needed files from SCM clusty1.mytest.de.

Date: Tue 12/12/2006

10:15:57 Fetch failed with Permission denied

Done.
/etc/services already has new services registered! Good.
/etc/services ready for Coda
Now installing things specific to non-SCM machines...

The Fetch failed!!!???

On the SCM I see in UpdateSrvLog:
Date: Tue 12/12/2006

10:11:41 Connection from [::ffff:192.168.222.22]:32769.

My /vice/db looks like that:
# l db/

[root_at_clusty1 vice]# find | grep -i root
[root_at_clusty1 vice]# updatedb
[root_at_clusty1 vice]# locate ROOTVOLUME

With find or locate I can't find such a file on my system. Is that File
important? Why vice-setup did not create it during
installation/configuration?

Other file under /vice have been transmitted from the SCM...

Thanks...

Achim
