Here is the 6.1.2 announcement that went out to codalist.

No shocking differences with 6.1.1, mostly a build fix for some breakage
introduced by rpc2-2.4.

This is more experimental. Overall the user experience should be mostly
similar, but there are significant changes in the way a Coda client
pushes updates back to the server and the way conflicts are handled.

I only got one bugreport related to 6.9.0, so I guess that either no one
is using it, or it works really well :)  I myself find that conflict
repair is still a bit hit or miss in this version. On the other hand, I
have been able to repair some things with the new code that the old code
could not handle.

If you don't want to run 'bleeding edge' you could use 6.1.2 (or 6.1.1
since it is mostly identical).
