Perhaps you can now start to appreciate the source of my cluelessness - 
for example I knew nothing about /vicepa/ab/cd/ef until you mentioned it 
just now!

It is like I have an unfinished jigsaw puzzle, with a vague description 
of the final scene but with no box!  You guys have the box with the 
picture on it.  I hope to join you soon, by then all will be clear to me.
