Creating & populating volumes, etc

I've now moved on to the server, and am having difficulty understanding
the docs (surprise ;).

I've done two cretevol commands:

createvol_rep test E0000100 /vicepa

after referring to the HOWTO (which said nothing specific about the
volume), and

createvol_rep ROOTVOLUME E0000100 /vicepa

after referring to the admin guide (which says I should use the root
volume I set up originally).

Both commands appear to have succeeded, so I then tried the cfs
makemount (sic!) comands:

root_at_kryten:~# cfs mkmount /home/ian test
/home: Invalid argument

root_at_kryten:~# cfs mkmount /home/ian ROOTVOLUME
/home: Invalid argument

I realise both these commands will make me look stupid, but I really
haven't been able to find any examples in the docs which show how to
actually populate a coda server with real data.

BTW I'm trying to get eg. my home directory into the coda server, if
that isn't obvious!

Hoping someone can help . . .
