No problem, you can do anything to it. Whenever venus get's a lookaside
hit, it tries to copy the file and validates whether the SHA checksum is
unchanged. If the copy fails, or the checksum doesn't match the file is
simply fetched from the servers.

So if you remove venus.cache.prev and the lka database returns a hit,
the copy will fail and venus simply fetches the file from the server(s).
At least that's what it is supposed to do :)
