[waaaay OT]: Nix, you're not doing a good job of selling C++, you
know.  Worry not; I know the proverb about minds and parachutes.  ;-)

Arrgh.  OK, this is deeper magic than I want to muck with, I'll
identify that patch and just do 5.3.19 + RVM change reverted.
