Trying to update coda CVS trees I get

can't create temporary directory
No space left on device

This appears to be from the server, as creating a temporary directory
under /tmp, with about 100MB of space, and executing

cvs -T /tmp -f -z3 -d `cat /coda/Projects/Coda/lwp/CVS/Root` checkout lwp

from there gives the same result.  The -T flag sets CVS's TMPDIR, so I
doubt it's my local problem.
