On my machine, bound to localhost.
I'm using rh6.2 with kernel-2.2.14 and coda-5.3.15 .
I've setup rvm and scm. my rvm log file is 2M and data file is 22M.
Before I do venus,I've done :
    update.init start
    codasrv.init start
    createvol_rep codavol E0000100 /vicepa
    cfs mkmount /coda/usr/codavol codavol
When I repeat the setup steps again,the error changes.
It tells me:
  09:55:36 Kernel version ioctl failed.
09:55:36 Initial LRDB allocation
09:55:36 Getting Root Volume information...
09:55:36 Venus starting...
09:55:37 CHILD: mount system call failed. Killing parent.

Yes,I've tried it,and the error occurs on cmu.
