That indicates that the server specified when venus-setup was run
doesn't resolve to a usable ip-address. Re-run venus-setup (or check
the servername(s) which it placed in /usr/coda/etc/vstab)

Very related, clog uses the same servername (from vstab) to connect to
the authentication daemon on the server, and probably cannot resolve the
hostname to an ip-address either.
