We current run Arla on SparcLinux, Solaris 2.5,2.6,2.7Beta
So I guess that LWP is the issue.

The only time I have hade problems with lwp is when I started to
write a LWP port to a Fujitsi VX. But that computer is _strange_
and no documentation either (cc -S is no fun).
