Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention the part where I had to install
readline (using fink) and make sure that the compiler could find it's
headers and libraries (CFLAGS="-I/sw/include -L/sw/lib" ./configure
powerpc-apple-darwin5.5 --prefix=/usr/local)
