I tested Coda under Linux. Coda doesn't scale, and its write performance just lagged. This file system is definitly not ready for prime-time, and probably never will be. Though I suppose it is nice, just to have it around. The one big feature Coda has that makes it interesting is disconnected operation. CITI is supposed to work on this for OpenAFS after they are done with the OpenBSD port. Cheers, Thomas Vincent Apple IS&T On Saturday, April 7, 2001, at 11:59 PM, Timothy J.
